Be Sports Science Consulting ("Be", "we", "us") operates the Be mobile application and web platform. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.

Health & Fitness Data: Workout logs, training programs, exercise history, body metrics, and physiological test results (e.g. lactate threshold data). If you connect Apple Health or Garmin, we may read heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, sleep, stress, body battery, training load, and activity data.

Device Data: Device type, operating system, and app usage analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Provide and personalise the coaching, training, and analytics features of the app
• Generate AI-powered training recommendations based on your health and training data
• Sync workouts to connected devices (Garmin, Apple Watch)
• Calculate training zones, race predictions, and physiological insights
• Improve the app and fix issues

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your data may be shared with:

• Your coach — if you are linked to a coach account, they can view your training data, health metrics, and test results
• Third-party services — Garmin Connect (if connected), Apple Health (if permitted), and Supabase (authentication) as required to provide app functionality
• Legal requirements — if required by law

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using encrypted databases and HTTPS connections. Authentication tokens are stored in secure device storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.

5. Apple Health & HealthKit

If you grant permission, the app reads health data from Apple Health (heart rate, HRV, sleep, workouts) and may write workout data back to Apple Health. This data is used solely within the app to provide training insights and is never sold or shared for advertising purposes, in compliance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Request a copy of your personal data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Disconnect third-party integrations (Garmin, Apple Health) at any time via Settings
• Revoke Apple Health permissions via your device's Health app settings
