A note from Brendon

Why I built Be

The longevity research is hard to ignore. Across almost every study, exercise sits at the front of living longer and living well. The catch is that exercise on its own can feel like a chore. For me it always has. Sport is what made it fun. I don't think there's a better way to add years to your life and life to your years than chasing something you genuinely enjoy.

I also built Be out of necessity. As a coach I was drowning in admin. I was building charts by hand, running progressive overload maths across spreadsheets and juggling four different apps for a single athlete. All of it pulled me away from the part that matters most, the athlete in front of me. Be brings everything into one place. The admin now runs quietly in the background so I can spend my time coaching rather than formatting.

The last reason is the one I care about most. Clients, friends and people I meet ask me the same training questions over and over. They don't just want to be told what to do. They want to understand why. So I built Be to explain your training and teach you as you go, not to hand you a plan with no reasoning behind it. Training you understand is training you stick with.

Beyond all of that, I genuinely love this work. Optimising performance and solving the puzzle of why an athlete responds the way they do is what keeps me hooked. I stay close to the latest evidence based research and the psychology of sport, because the field never stops moving and neither should the way I coach.

That's Be. Real coaching, built on real physiology, in a tool that handles the heavy lifting so the focus stays on you.
